don't matter what its got or how much the chain cost ... I have seen my chain the 160 pound phython one been cut through in less that 30 seconds with bolt croppers  [wall]

I would just alarm the garage with a sensor to text you ... have your phone up really loud ...... also have a motion cam to take a snap shot of unsuspecting theives....

you'll find the coonts in the end .... then just string em up  [wall] [wall] [wall]

sorry to hear of your brother bad luck though buddy

motion camera sounds a great idea! cheers

i know what you mean about out of sight out of mind but the police say that if the bike was in a garage the thieves could muffle/disconnect the alarm and do everything out of site  [wall].  but i make sure my garage is alarmed, bike disc locked, chained, anchored etc etc just to make it as bleedin hard for the scum as possible. i was just gob smacked how easily they cropped the chains!

i think a garage door defender is the next must have item,

maybe i should just leave my German Sherpherd dog in the garage every night

had 2 bikes nicked myself in the space of a year so i know how ya feel, 1st one was taken out my garage which was alarmed and padlocked and the bike was chained and disc locked and alrmed, 2nd was taken from my mates house while i went and watched the footy at the pub it again was alrmed chained and disc locked,if they want it they will get it, at least the police actually caught one of them and he was harshly punished with a 2 week stint in our majesty,s all inclusive accomodation and told that he was not to do it again! i believe he must have forgoten what they said because he is still doing it! ive moved to exeter and its alot quiter here although my security is still high.
