I didnt get too involved in the party just camped over with a couple of mates and had a few beers and a bbq after a hard track day and it felt good.

Not going to this one but I'm going to the Welsh Ninjafest.  I went last year and it was a right hoot.

What and you an ex-para an all that.

You only use the tent to crash into in the wee hours of the morning.  The trick being to get in and asleep before the fucking birds start singin and the sheep start bleeting.

I knew this was gonna come up,

 yeah ok I was a para and I used to roll around in mud sleeping in sub surface observation posts shiting into a bag and peeing into a bottle, tabbing (word for fast army march) miles and miles and doing pointless drills over and over making attack after attack, to prepare us for war. I did it cause it was a job, I chose it cause thats where I was in that point of my life, I have learnt a lot and built my character on this..

all this aside I know what it feels like to camp rough and well if I had the choice of a nice hotel of roughing it in a camp site bit of a no brainer....

not that I am saying I don't enjoy camping just not my favourite past time

Thursday evening arrive set up camping and into the beer with a chinese take-away (if required)

Track day on the Friday
Pub in the evening

150 ish mils of Welsh countryside roads on Saturday
BBQ and beer and beer and beer in the evening

Gentle pootle around 60 odd miles on Sunday to a bikers cafe for brekkie
Ride home in the afternoon

Not to mention the fun with a 2CV as well
