lol, just meant a got a free damper one with the 08 model the ohlins one. I never did ever get one for the 05, must not have been trying hard enough never needed it!!.
Drew, will post up some more comments on the Racefit as I rid around on it, give you some impressions mate. I also loved the R55 from Yoshi, I think that is beautiful shape. But it's only a carbon end cone, not body on that model, also it doesn't get rid of boom box underneath, it just goes onto input side of boom box. Strange, can only presume it is cost saving as if you made the link pipe another 8 inches or so and weld on some nuts you could have removed boom box and kept rear belly pan piece too, it's also in stainless not Ti the link pipe I mean.
Akra does optional link pipe on there evolution race, but it was on back order when I checked earlier in the week, their race can's also etch in "not for road use" so that is another added expense removing that, hex end can is nice.
It's all very personal what stuff we buy for our bikes, that's the great thing about it, everyone into different looks/feel.
The Racefit is very basic form/function. unpolished welds, the carbon on the can is hand wrapped, you can see that, not just one seemless sheet as in mass production, everything is Ti except the rivets which are Aluminium which makes them easy to drill out when it needs re-packing.
All depends on the look you are after in the end.
