Nice forum, found it by chance after hunting around on Google. Just wanted to say hi. My name is Al, and I live in Bournemouth. I have had an 08 ZX10 for just over a week now after what became the worlds most expensive MOT. I had an 05 model that I took into the local Kawasaki dealer for it's first MOT the other week, and made the mistake of taking the 08 demo bike out for a run while I was waiting...Bad move! Still, got a good deal on the new one, and the wife is even starting to talk to me again now! Just can't wait to get the first service over with so I can start to play properly, I hate running these things in.

Hmmm. I have seen that info in breaking engines in before somewhere....Wouldn't mind doing it that way to someone else's though just to see if it works!  :lol:   Never mind, only another 200 miles to go to get the first oil change out of the way, then we can go chav baiting!  [greenie]

Welcome Al :occasion14: Just up the road in Southampton, My bike in the Bournemouth dealers on Thursday so going to try a get a ride on an 08. Don't think I will be changing yet but could be worth it if you get a weeks peace from the missus [whistle]
