This must be quite common, I had someone contact me a while back to ask me if I actually had sold the car which I had listed on ebay a couple of weeks previously, as it was on auto trader with the same pics as I used on ebay.

The story the seller was using was the same, and the email address one from yahoo. I'd love to meet up with whoever is doing this.. for a nice umm.. chat.

I guess we need to watermark all images used on ebay to prevent this sort of thing.

Glad you didn't get caught.

Jon , Yeah I went ahead with it mate he is sending me a cheque for 10 grand and he wants me to draw out 13500 to give back to him in cash on delivery ....

88bhp 800kgs nett, hence the 888  [whistle]

2.5 tdi 5 cylinder... love it as its so comfy. sits nice up to 90mph and ive just about scraped 100 out of it  [rofl] has captain seats, cruise control, leccy windows, central locking......

but no aircon  :-(  just about get 2 bikes in there and track kit  :lol:

Hi there
came across the same story but with Honda Fireblade about 2 years ago, suspiciously cheap, pics were nice but... of american version of bike. Reported to flebay- auction removed after.
Stroy was exactly the same.
