New 250R
« on: April 29, 2008, 10:43:29 PM »

Other half who recently passed her test [clap] ( 33bhp restricted) is chomping about getting the new 250r as she likes the look of my 10, Good Girl :icon_thumleft:
Any thoughts guys, I know they only became available this month, just wondered if any feedback available yet.
She is dragging me up to the dealership Thursday!

I agree that they certainly look the part. Had a look at one at George White's last weekend on thier Anniversary bash. Rider friendly and quite a low ride height which is good as she is verticaly impared.

they have a solid engine, reliable are well tasty and the riding position whilst sporty is not uncomrfortable for a beginner...its a really good halfway hous between beginner and experienced rider bike...

:icon_thumright: We've been together nearly 6 years and although she liked bikes ( as a pillion on mine ) she was never into biking. Got her on a twist and go to get going, then the CG125 for a while and a test pass.

Then SHE wanted to go forward , hence the 250r. And she has started already, " I want rid of that orrible lump of plastic at the rear" followed by " got to get a smaller plate and indicators" and "how about a different can" .

GOOD GIRL  :hello2: Sometimes I realise why I love her so much, lol............. [rofl]
