the ohlins damper on the 06-07 model is a mass produced unit hence it is not upto much of a standard

whats having a standard got to do with the price of fish......  :dontknow:

they are all the same on the 06/07 so must be subject to some quality control.....

sorry should of expltained better, they have a standard and do work, but due to being mass produced at a cheaper cost then the adjustment isnt upto the ohlins usual refinement

same as Glenn here witha Hyper pro RSC and it's just brillaint, works a treat for a ham fisted fool like me anyhow   :headbang:

RSC = progressive
The new progressive Hyperpro RSC (Reactive Safety Control) steering damper is revolutionary compared to the previous linear model. Due to speed-sensitive damping, fast and sharp blows are intercepted more effectively, and will not affect steering behaviour at lower speed.

Already tried that 46 but it just makes the steering rigid and i don't really like it. The hyper pro has ahigh speed damping thingy that in theory sounds just the ticket.

i had a sprint damper on my 636 and it was shit  kept pissing out oil.

There are Ohlins, and there are Ohlins.....talk to anyone in a race paddock and you'll get the same story.  If you take the standard damper off and pull it there aint a big difference between full on and full off.  That said, who feels a bit more secure knowing its wound up?  lol.....
