1st Knockhill trackday
Chrisblack10r:
looks good dude
and the footage is very clear, what is the video equipment you are using?
john.658:
Cheers,
It is just our family sony mini digi camcorder, with a panasonic bullet camera. Works a treat if the lead stays in. :icon_thumright:
budda10r:
Nice one there mate, I love knockers (tee hee) its a great little track and much more fun than most would imagine.
You shall now be known as the R1 hunter, or was it a gixxer.
I have a zx7r which is very nearly ready for the road, just calipers and paint left to do........
Must get a camera for the ring trips.
john.658:
Cheers pal,
It was a gixxer, he was a top bloke too. :icon_thumright: Both of us were out for the first time, so we were well matched.
Knockhill is harder looking than people think, but great fun. If you can maintain a good corner speed, the lap times will drop. I'm struggling to be consistent in the corners, different lines every time. :emb:
Got a 10r now, but I'm slower on that than the 7r, lots of work to be done there.
The calipers on the 7 don't wear well, as with the oem downpipes and rear shock. If you can get some brembo discs and braided lines the bike will stop fine even when on track. Otherwise, buy a parachute and anchor from the army navy surplus [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]
Get some pics up when the paint is done, love the 7 :icon_thumright:
