Where are the vibes occurring?  Tank, bars, footrests?  If you let us know we may be able to help you.  Quite a few peeps on here have had it in one form or another and managed, in most cases to get rid of it.

try bar end weights,,,,some heavy steel ones will help,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,or just do what most of us on here do and that is ride it at 10,000 rpm all the time and this gets rid of it,,,,,,,,,, [rofl]

no realy, there is`nt much you can do,,,,,,,,,,you could have the hole engine BLUE PRINTED to take out all the small imperfections and it will be balanced properly...............other than that, think your self lucky you did`nt buy a DUKE... [rofl]

Thanks for the comments. It is a Z1000 The main vibe does come through the bars and a little through foot pegs. You can ride your way through it, but 120mph down the village high street is not realistic.   I will be putting it in for a 4000 service within the next month or so and Kawasaki e-mailed me stating they had not had any reports about this YEAH RIGHT! and I should book it into my dealership for a closer look so I will do.

i use to work for kawasaki and there very upfront about problems if they are aware of a problem they will say so, and tell you to get the bike into your local dealer to get it fixed. I know thay had a few reports on the old model but i must say i have never heard anything on the new one, i think all bikes have some vibration at some point in the rev range, how bad is it?

Thanks guys for your replies. It is definitely a vibration as soon as I get to 6500 rpm you can feel the vibration start and it continues through too 7500 no matter what gear. I have replaced the rear tyre after 1300 miles due to a puncture but had it replaced with the same oem tyre.
