Are you considering getting one new, or used?

If new, then hold on and send me a PM, as I have some info that might be of use- can't stress this enough- have just spent the last 2 days working with Mazda, and RX-8 was mentioned

Have had 3 RX-8's since their launch to try, and driven them on a variety of tracks. Good fun car - well balanced, and I never had to put oil in one.  Didn't have one for more than a fortnight though. They are pretty thirsty, but the performance is good for a 2X654cc engine. Makes a good noise when driven properly too. Excellent rear legroom, 4 adults not a problem, and boot is not that small either. Early models had a few problems with alloy wheel corrosion, but these were easily swapped under warranty.

I work in the car industry for all manufacturers, and spent most of the last 2 years attending launches and working on forecasting used car prices.

Can't agree on the TT/hairdresser comments, possibly on the early shape ones, but the new one is much more agressively styled, and I think can be carried off as a bloke motor. From a company car point of view, the new diesel TT is a good prospect.. I'm torn between that and the 123d coupe.
