Straightliners round 2
« on: April 10, 2008, 10:47:23 PM »

Round 2 is at Elvington on the 20th of April so we should have a few more regulars out this time and it will be a good bit warmer,,, just remember that Elvington is a noise regulated event.
Come on boys see i ya can beat the Ginger one  :headbang:

Phil,

Are you part of the Straightlines?  Did you do the timing at the Hogton Tower sprint?  I could do with the results for class 8 and class 9, if you have them.

ps, I was the numpty that crashed in practice. [wall]  ...and yes, it is possible to crash in a straight line.   God I've had some stick for that.

Hey Chaos did you win the trophy for the fastest guy to slide across the line, or the  fastest 1/4 mile without a bike award?  [clap] [rofl] [rofl]

I was just being a tit........trying to go to fast without checking out the conditions.  Set off in first, spinning and snaking all over the place, spun it up in second and third.... crossed the line and 'gently' touched the brake..  [naughty] .. front wheel just tucked.  I ended up doing a superman style dive up the tarmac.  It was a bit icy to be doing stuff like that.
