I'm 51 in June and I don't have a Harley yet, although I've got the stomach to put on the tank :lol:  I have wondered about one for commuting though.  I rode the R1 home in quite heavy traffic yesterday in the company of an Aprillia RSV, you all ride bikes so I'll leave the details out, but I wonder if a Harley would protect my licence a bit more during the week, leaving the 10 to do the damage at the weekends.

I rode my brother in law's VN800 the other week and was surprised at how much calmer I felt.  The trouble is it's a Harley copy, and a Sportster costs around the same price, and has a lot less depreciation if you feel it's too horrible and have to sell it on.  It would have to be as well as the 10, not a replacement though.

gotta agree those Suzuki's are stunning looking bikes...real cool like and not totally cruiser ish, a bit more stylish in my opinion too

Must admit that I saw in one of my lads'  bike mags some handlebars that are comfortably adjustable  [whistle]  maybe I'll get some of those.....................when I'm 60  [whistle] [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]
