New Job On The Horizon?
« on: April 11, 2008, 09:21:08 PM »

Well, after being down here for just over a month (Northampton) I finally popped into the Girlsbike2 shop in town....

After much browsing of one piece leathers and funny t-shirts, I finally made it to the till to have a bit of banter with the woman behind the counter....

I just happened to ask if there were any jobs going and she said yes  [clap]

Took all my details and told me she'll get back to me soon  :headbang:

One thing I was impressed with was that she asked if I rode a bike, as all staff have to ride so that they know what they're talking about to customers.....

Get those fingers crossed chaps cos it could very well be a dream job for me!

I would be able to get stuff at cost price and they pay well which is indeed an added bonus  :emb:

I've already got my beady little eye on a new one piece suit seeing as mine has been through a few accidents (high sides and somersaulting over cars  :emb:)

If I don't get it I'm going to be blaming you lot

Too right I would be!

Leaving my details was ace though....unlike any other job application

I mentioned about doing track days and was told to put down that bit of info  [rofl]

Long as I can get the time off to do said track days I'll be happy  ;-)

Good luck with that BC

Is it mainly a girlie biker store then or does it cater for all types of bikers

The Girlsbike2 stores only cater for the female riders/pillions Majic, you blokes don't know how hard it is to actually get a decent fitting one piece suit or find a range of colours....

"Yes madam you can have that suit in any one of our black colours"

So, you blokes are quite welcome in stores to spend money on us females (Just like my other half who was stood looking embarrassed whilst us girlies were on about fetish shows  [rofl] ) but I don't think there'd be a lot to your tastes  ;-)

Gixxer, You'd better keep those wee fingers crossed that I get the job then

Shame that doesn't apply to all car salesmen who sell cars
