What cans did you use and what lacquer?

Did you manage to get the seat unit to fit over the standard subframe without any mods? My new seat unit is one piece like yours and I can see how it will possibly fit.
Mines an 07.

yes i did manage to fit it over,bit of a pain thou,i leave the black side panels and the rear
under tray panel on to,i didnt want to strip it all off because it takes to long to return it
to road spec.
i had to do a lot of trimming of the fibre glass,and adding some in places too.

i got the paint from nuneaton panels,,,,,in nuneaton.i think it was tetrosyl laquer.

Thanks for that Spenny, time get the Dremel outthen.  If you get a chance, could you take a photo of your rear subframe prior to fitting the seat unit.
