Cleaned the bike on the weekend

I never jet wash mine, I just used babywipes and polish.... though I never get it out in the rain......

i need to do mine, but the only way into all the nooks and crannies is with a jet wash (I think), but i dont wanna damage any seals etc with the high pressure..

p.s. would you  beleive i had that very same problem with slimy green paint slidin off. they did mine in titanium too... [rofl]

Washed the whole bike first, then had a small pot of white spirits with a tooth brush and the bike up on the paddock stand.  Just cleaned every link till I got back to the clean ones.  Don't forget there 2 sided chains (clean the oother side of it as well) then I put it in first gear and let it roll over, sprayed a bit of muc off onto it and followed by the garden hose.   Get the chain warm and then lube it up baby yeah!.

I only do this a couple of times throughout the year mind, it's usually a squirt of scottoil (left over from last bike) and then chain wax over the top of it, whilst its still warm.

Oil the inside of the chain, wax the outside of the chain.
