There are no cons to tyre warmers. Unless you count having to take them on and off or finding power  :icon_thumright:

if you are doing a trackday without them on track tyres then you will be doing 6 or 7 heat cycles

in reality after about 4 cycles they can become very hard to keep stable (spinning under power ,less feel etc )

they are well worth it mate..... I am just about to buy a new set too .... my old ones will be going up for sale.... although I will need to test them as I think the front one was playing up at silverstone  ;-)

so discounting the wear,,,on warmers im doing one heat cycle per track day,
and thats maybe[wear excluded]6 track days,i know it wont be six.
so on a money saving angle alone its a win, yea.
how many days will i get from racetecs as an average rider,,approx.with warmers.

I can easily get 4 days out of a racetec  :icon_thumleft: and they were scrubs  :icon_thumleft:

not just that though you will be able to get out in the group straight away without having to do 3 laps  :icon_thumleft:

as well as all the above its the confidence when you leave the pits knowing your tyres are ready and waiting for abuse.
i get 3 days of tracktime on my 636 with racetecs then they are totally fookered  :icon_thumright:
in the extreme cold temperatures your tyres are sometimes hotter going out than coming in

spenny just went down to check them matey , and they were not firing up .... I though it might be lose wiring so I opened them up .... they have all the connection firmly in place.... I have no idea what is wrong with them .... all I was doing was pulling them out from being rolled up (admittedly I did tug pretty hard) and the front stopped working ....

they actually look really well made inside  :icon_thumleft: ah well the back on works well  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl]
