Hey bob that's a lovely H2 fella, I loved my H1 so much that I wrote it off and fixed it back up.

You just need the transfers on the main fairing and then you should give it to me to look after for you  [whistle]

GPZ600r was the first "legal" big bike. Bought a 750 turbo with 30 miles on the clock that had been slammed into the arse of a cortina. Went racing for a week and came back to find my 600r wasn't a 600 any more!
That was a scary bike! Its still running round leamington in mint nick.
ZXR750, followed by an Exup that got me a 2yr ban on the A46 and the front page of the coventry evening telegraph [whistle]
Couple of XR's, an XT, an old Bonneville(1974), Kids, no bike for a while, the the 6r J1, and the 10!
Would still love the GPZ back though.

Are you originally from these parts then? (Leamington)

Never did like the LC's, had an RD400 instead. Had the head skimmed, ports polished and a set of Allspeeds. The bloody thing was lethal, the front wheel would not stay on the ground and didnt like corners. As for the Yokajokers that it came with, soon got rid of them and had a set of TT100's fitted. It still didnt like corners, but at least it didnt slide all over the road as soon as you looked at the brake lever!! Of all the bikes I have owned, still the the most comfortable was my first one. That was a Honda 250 Dream, not a Super Dream. The Super Dream was pig ugly! I went all over the UK on that 250 Dream and I never ached once. The seat and riding position were perfect. The only other bike that came close to the comfort was my old GPZ1100 B2. Shame some arsehole reversed their car over it when I parked it up at work. They didnt even leave their details, they just buggered off!! Those were the days back in the late 70's early 80's. Going to Whipps Cross, The Strip and Box Hill. Taunting Mr Plod then getting chased for miles and never getting caught. I am far too old for all that now, I am much more sensible, I try to keep under 150mph on the nice fast winding roads around where I live now!!!

first ever bike was an AP50!  went like the clappers as it was unrestricted ( 70mph with the wind behind me down hill!) at a time when restriction had arrived for all bikes 125 and under i was the fastest kid on the block  for some reason i then went and swoped it for a 35mph ER50  and then i found cars :crybaby2: after doing the usual XR2  etc and finally ending up with a ZX TURBO coupe i went back to the bikes as my plaything and got a ZX6R then a  brand spanking new ZX636 B1H, loved that but it got nicked after a year :crybaby2:after that i bought a K3 GSXR 1000 with the insurance money but only managed to keep that for a year before it was nicked aswell! ( if you ever visit loughborough make sure you bring a fookin big padlock and chain with you). decide to give it best for a while after this and moved down here, last feb 2007 was visiting friends in loughborough and ended up buying a 2003  R1, and i finally have ended back up were i belong on board a kawasaki with the zx10 which ive had about a month now.
