Glen Coe today
« on: March 31, 2008, 09:05:21 PM »

Pic of my bike not far from Glen Coe today.  :brave:

With my shifts changing to constant days Mon-Fri next week, the prospect of a mid week blast is fast diminishing, so took advantage of a rare spot of sunshine and the temp. touching double figures at a sizzling 9-10  :glasses9:

310 miles of some of the best roads to be had and never seen plod all day.  :icon_thumright:
Surprisingly though, very few bikes were out, did pass a couple of Gixxers though, totally taking the piss steaming into a town full tilt.  [naughty]

Next best thing to a track day  :headbang:

That's been tried, with Hadrian's Wall  [rofl]  [rofl]
Roads today were awesome, Glen Coe itself though was tricky, the surface was breaking up leaving loose shit all over.
North of Fort William though, it's empty, save the odd bit of wildlife   :headbang:

My fav road is through Glen Coe and head through Fort William past the Commando Monument, then head towards Inverness. Turn off at Invergarry and head to Skye, then back and over to Applecross, then home again.  :icon_thumright:
Marathon run but can be done in a long day if the weather holds. Hot bath needed after though. The road from Invergaryy to Skye is like short circuit riding  :headbang:

Glenn, how do you get the pics up without the link. Computer dummy chum so keep it simple  :icon_thumright:

you need to right click and view the image properties it will the show the  link location

which was http://38.114.207.31/ed8b677f2d6483068dd2fbacf189c64c4g.jpg

you then want to hit the image button above the smileys next to the red swirly thing it posts img tags like this

[ img ][/ img ]

you then need to post the link in between these image tags

[ img ]http://38.114.207.31/ed8b677f2d6483068dd2fbacf189c64c4g.jpg[/ img ]    which looks like this (without the spaces)

If you are coming up again post it up and I'll meet up. If any you guys need a stop over going North, we should be able to put you up. Just give a few days notice.
