Oh yeah , OVERTAKING  [rofl] [rofl]

I am pleased to say that I was nowhere near the slowest in the novices and was probably closer to the front ten or so  than the back ( please correct me if I am wrong Si  )

jon still running standard suspesion as i dont think there is anything wrong with it, think it has something to do with the motocross i did in my younger days after doing that any road bike feels good.
I have rear sets on my bike and was still getting the brake pedal down, i think at lot of people waste money on trick bits when really they should just get bike fit. All modern bikes are almost race bikes anyway  :icon_thumleft:

I hear you on the bike fit. I realised that after two sessions at Donny last week.

thats bollox and you know it Liam  [rofl] [rofl] [rofl] if you had the money you would get the shock and the forks done....

it aint just about performance ... its about being comfortable..... making you tyres last  and not tearing them up etc etc..... if my suspension wasn't so I would of been a lot quicker.....

bit like I said on the kwakers board I aint laying down the gaunlet with you.... I want my bike in one piece after a trackday  :icon_thumleft:

Your never going to sell many race parts thinking like that ;-)

Road bikes suspension is a compromise between price and quality, aftermarket stuff is just quality.

your right jon and you are in some ways gr but the fact is that none of us are near the limits of what stock parts can do, i proved that as i was farily quick in the afternoon, my tyres still look like new, i felt good, no problems as in the bike moving about ect ect.
i agree that say wp/ohlins is very good but only good when set up right and i would say in most cases its not.
the way i look at it is ron haslam dicks everybody at donny i know that he rides there all the time ect but he`s on a stock blade on road tyres.
yes i would have the most trick bike if i had the money but i still think i do more than ok on stock parts, the only thing i have changed to do with handling is a brembo mc and hel hoses.

Just cos its gold doesnt mean you will be quicker ;)

Get it dialed in and you will see the benefit, fit it and forget about it and you wont.  :icon_thumleft:
