Yeah, tried to get my local Heine Gericke to import them for me so I could do it on the 0% finance deal they have, but they dont deal with Jardine at all

try the old "warranty replacement" trick - worked more than once. "Gift" is another that works depending on what the item is.

and don't forget that the VAT will be applied to the post as well as the item cost pal so there's no escape.

Best bet is to buy from Europe if possible to save all the additional cost bullshit
