Know what your saying dude, but as i see it here on a bike forum most of us have a certain amount  of non essential two wheeled fun  parked in our garages. Mine being a twin returning 80 mpg. Doesn,t invalidate your point tough! I would love cheaper fuel & cost of living, and not to have to work saturdays to pay for the duke.But i think the Government know we,re not as skint as we make out!

speak for yourself I am skint all the time...

but its because I run 5 vehicles in my family
4 with insurance and tax and 3 of them needing MOTS (ones an 07 plate)

petrol/diesel  for each of them its no wonder I am skint ..... just driving my car 4 miles to and from work I got through 20 quid a week  that without other pleasure trips or visiting my family 70 miles away .....

my car tak is going up to 400 quid in 2 years .... what the fuck is going on..... in the 4 years since I got my license back there has been more fuel tax hikes aroad tax hike than there was the last ten years before that

I have a diesel van for trackdays ...

I have my car for everyday.... I aint gonna start using my van cause I wanna save on petrol....  if I couldn't afford it then I would sell if and by a cheaper car... I just think that it takes the piss that it is now becoming close that I won't be able to afford it...

I love my car though ..... if it gets to bad .... the bike/s/van will go not the car
