Yeh i agree mate. It is impossible to split 90 riders into 3 equal groups.

but then you have just contradicted what you have just said mate

"It's not fair on people be it in inters or fast group to have to keep dealing with riders that are not up to a good safe pace for that group, Nor should slower riders have to have club racers steaming past them in the inters." :tongue3:

gopher:
Not at all. Did we not just have 4 days of open pitlane in Spain not sure about you but i thought it felt like we had the track to ourselfs most the time. It worked perfectly

If your running in the fast group then this is very rarely a problem.  If your 10 seconds a lap slower you will be easily passed by the quicker lads who will do it quickly, without hesitation and safely (albeit more closely than you maybe used too).  The issue with moving into the fast group is not so much related to your trackday speed, rather whether you actually have a clue as to where you should be on the track at a give point.

Move up when you feel you need to progress -- you will not get faster by fighting traffic in the inters - and of course, everyone else looks on and thinks your trying to prove something by being in the wrong group ;-)
