juat been lookin at steerin dampers after todays escapades, and stumbled upon this thread... though it might be of interes to those who own sprint kit..
no tryin to ruffle feathers with owners, but it may be useful to read.

Hmmm, I've read that before.  I do have a Sprint damper on my 10.

My ZX9's gearbox main shaft sheared on me and caused a total rear wheel lock up.  We stayed upright.....thank god.

Kawasaki put a new gearbox in it for me even though it was 3 years old.

Does that mean that all ZX9s are dangerous?  Probably not.  Same with the steering dampers.

It's a knotty one, isn't it?!

i think its safe to say you definately cant gho wrong with an ohlins damper... think gpr are excellent too. read nothing but good reviews on them. think they lok a bit weird tho.

not bein funny matey, but someones obviously had probs with one of these dampers.. unless you know the fella and know he's lying, you can't just type "ITS BULLSHIT"
there must be some truth, or he wouldn't bother posting it, and calling them up so many times.  it may be a one off failure, but hey, its better to know and not need, than to need and not know eh.....
