8 mm of rain and 48mph winds forecast round these parts.

It was a stunning day yesterday and was sorely tempted by a scenic route home..........wish I'd taken it now.

Yep, absolutely great  [wall] .  I had to take my 10 to the dealers yesterday - FI warning light came on the day before and wouldn't go away.  Unfortunately they are still trying to diagnose what is wrong with it so I had to leave it with them overnight.  On the plus side I have got a nice 07 gixxer thou as loan bike  :hello2:  Took advantage of this and I did take the scenic route home last night - clocked up 100 miles by time I got home for tea  [whistle] .  However, I am expecting a phone call today to say my bike is ready for collection so I have had to come to work in this nasty windy/wet weather on the gixxer - oh and my waterproof leggings are under the seat of the 10 at the dealers  [wall] .  I'm hoping it doesn't get too windy later, being little (ok a short arse . . . ) makes it really difficult to hold the bike up at junctions  [rofl] .

had a cracking day yesterday, had the day off work and took me new 10 out for its first proper run, from exeter down to slapton sands , salcombe, plymouth and then a blast back up the A38 back to exeter. weather was good aswell which makes a change.
today its pissing down with rain and ive got another day off work, .................so its off to the boozer as soon as it opens me thinks!  :hello2:
also im still running the qualifiers and yesterday was the first time i put them under any stress, and i gotta say i never had so much as a twitch from them, didnt exactly push them really hard in the corners but as anybody knows who has ridden down these parts there are some very tight low speed corners round that coastal area and they never missed a beat.
