I love my new 10

Took her for a run up the 339 without the exhaust and she is sweet...I just totally love this bike....growing on me more and more...see you all at silverstone (those that are going anyway)

yes understand...but this bike is simply amazing, I am getting used to the hard suspension, am getting used to the on off throttle at low revs which can really catch you out, but this may be because I have no exhaust and or valve fitted...but she is one lovely ride...and anyone that sys she isnt a good road bike is utterly nuts...its so sweet, it really does feel like a 250...shes more like my RGV250 than ay bike I have....

they will be cheap one day I guess...depends upon how far they (ie bike manufacturers) can go before the law takes them off us...buy now or you may not be able to in a few years....

What's it sound like without the silencer then?

Offensive or not too bad?

Finally gave up on running mine in by the book yesterday (the swine I was riding with didn't help - "Aye,nice & easy - you can keep it under 6000rpm" - that lasted almost 100 yards !!)

Traction control?

MY ARSE.

Pinning an 08 in second gear on cold roads has to be one of the defining moments in biking history  ;-)

legs it doesn't have traction control mate.

its anti spin control ... and it only works on a constant throttle not when you are accelerating  :icon_thumright:

Yeah,we know that but some people still seem to think the 08 ZX10 does have traction control.

As far as I know,only the Duc 1098R has a system that could realistically be called Traction Control.

KIMS?

A gimmick imho  :icon_thumleft:
