evo 8 fq340/360?

just cant stop thinking about evo 8`s been to look at one today an fq340 always wanted one but really dont know if i should do it or not!!!  [wall]
something tells me i should pay of the business loan but then i think fuck it i want an evo !!!!
what should i do?

If you can afford to buy it and run it then get it but if its going to screw you right to the bone and you wont be able to afford to put juice in the 14 MPG monster then dont buy it.

would only be a weekend car, got the van for everyday..
i really want one but something tells me i should wait till i can save some more money.

I've not tried an 8, but spent a day at the Prodrive track "Evaluating" the Evo X a month or so ago, awesome car.. hadn't driven an Evo since the 5, they've moved on a bit  :lol:

I'd second the fuel issue, it gets really boring fast having a car that gets you on first name terms will all the petrol station staff within 100 miles! They like tyres too.. oh, and a 4000 mile service interval..

trouble is a few of my mates have cars like this one has a scooby 320bhp ,one has a prodrive sti and one has an evo 8 fq340, i use to be into cosworths but have`nt had a real quick car for a few years got a golf gti 1.8t at the mo feels like a 1.0 fiat after going in a car with 300+ bhp i forgot what it was like, felt like i use to in my rs
think i`ll have to go see the bank manager n tell him to top up the business loan. :headbang:

I know its old but....got me ickle beadies on an M3 Evo [e36]......its either that or another bike to go alongside my 10R and keep the 325i.

Had an e36 Evo Saloon AND a coupe - proper bit of fun and plenty quick enough - especialy without all the " electronic trickery " that you get these days . Good for a bit of Drifting around roundabouts to surprise people LOL
