So that's what a 10 is like
« on: January 27, 2007, 12:43:27 PM »

Had a bit of an insight into how the 10 would probably behave on a day to day basis yesterday.

Let me explain.

I had to go to Maplins yesterday afternoon using the ring road to Brislington  (click here if map required )

Anyway, every roundabout and junction was slippery as hell and I had the back wheel spinning all over the place.  The first time caught me off guard and I could feel the front begining to loose it as well, but then it seemed like fun after that, especially as I was trying to enduce it as well.

So would that be what the 10 is like on a day to day basis or is it even better.

And also on another note, apparently in the news this week.

The police are searching for a motorcyclist in this area (Bristol-ish) with a gold coloured bike  whose video on YouTube (or similar) could land him/her in bother as they were supposed to have been riding like a loon through a residential area and then through Cribbs Causway.

I've been unable to see this video despite the effort, but I'm also concerned now as the colour of my bike could be deemed as Gold I suppose, so I'm expecting a tug at some point.  I'd just like to see the video to see if there's any resemblance to my bike.

However I'd like to point out that it was not I and the only time I've had a camera on the bike was in Wales last summer.

So if anyone has seen this story or finds a website with said video can you post it here or PM me with a link.

Cheers all

It wasn't me, that's why I want to see the video.

Although I did go a bit loony tunes on it last night as I'd cleaned the chain and wanted to get it nice and warm before applying the lube to it.   :-P :-P
