Fantastic day man, and great write up...however the one thing I have an issue with is this...
as a day to day ride the 10 is glorious, if your staying within reasonable limits 0-140mph the bike is perfect she turns and rides lovely...you learn to lift your arse at low speeds because of the hard suspension but all I can say she is as easy to live with as my (06) R1...and this animal I just have not seen....perhaps I need to give it more welly....roll on the nicer weather...
Get the new ten guys it is a brilliant bike....and easily as good as any other bike out there...although I have never ridden a blade...might go ride one tomorrow just to see..
In addition G...when we doing our brunters day...
I don't disagree mate to be honest....perhaps you misunderstood! I personally felt, on a 20 min test ride on tight, undulating, country roads with pot holes, dents, bumps and horse shit that in some points the bike felt a little light at the front end! And as always...in my opinion! Maybe thats cause I'm a little fat fucker and putting all the weight on the back end
Lets be honest, the runway scenario isn't realistic but again, just said what I found. Compared to the others, the 10 felt light at full tilt. Even the testers were "reluctant" to strip test the 10 because of it.
I reckon the new 10 is a brilliant road bike (as is the CBR) and am very tempted to "upgrade" from mine. But at the moment, just not tempted enough.
I would recommend anyone to ride the Blade...as it makes going fast very very easy. I think the Blades have always done that but this one for me ticked all the boxes and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
As always, different strokes for different folks
