3 men go to a hotel and find out they can only have one room between them,
the guy at reception charges them 30 dollars for the night,
so they each pay 10 dollars each.

later that night the receptionist notices that the room is actually only 25 dollars,
so he sends the bell boy up to their room with 5 dollars change,

on the way up there, the bell boy can't work out how to split 5 dollars 3 ways,
so decides to only give them 1 dollar each and keep 2 dollars for himself,

after the 3 men recieve the 1 dollar each they realize that the room in total only cost 27 dollars
9 x 3 = 27 dollars, the bell boy kept 2 dollars for himself which if you add only comes to 29 dollars

What happenend to the other dollar?

right just worked it out ,

the missing unit is the 30th dollor

i.e

they paid 30 dollars so if they get given back 3 you have to count 30 as a unit

i.e 30 dollars
      29 dollars
      28 dollars    thats 3 dollars so if you have another 2 dollars that would be 27 dollars 26 dollars

hence the head fuck
