I knew a lad with one when they were new, he spent most of the time he owned it with a spare tank on it, while the original had all the stress fractures welded, they do vibrate a bit.

yes I have the 500, and MY GT750 vibrates a lot moe than i expected....but you get used to it to be honest....this has been tuned a bit and that tends to make them a bit more powerful and smoother to run....with less of the old kick the originals had...we will see....

What's that coming over the hill?

I suggest 3,perhaps 4 steering dampers should do the trick  :icon_thumright:

Mad Max featured bikes with 2 more strokes  :hello2:

I had blue 250 S1C, it used to vibrated the middle carb off when I fitted individual K&N filters.  I knew someone with a black (with bamboo-look decals) S2 350, a mate had a mint condition purpley S3 400, another mate had a dog-rough blue and sliver HIB and he sold it for a new brown H2, and they were all brilliant bikes and looked great.  It's a classic silhouette, and really suited to that green.  It already comes with a steering damper if I remember correctly.

yes they have a bit of a reputation for being too wild but to be honest i always loved my 500 and cant wait to ride this one....still love that sound of a two stroke although the sound of a screaming fourstroke is starting to win me over...

steering dampers on the H2's for sure and the H1 on some models...

it was the flexible arm that was supposed to hold the rear wheel on and going in a straight line if you were lucky... that was the biggest issue...too much engine for the chassis...

but still they have great charm and this bike along with another couple of bikes will be the last of two strokes FOR ME ANYWAY...except for the hankering i have to build a gt750 special...pretty much hooked on modern stuff...like reliable...
