ten grows on you, it really does, its a bit like sophia loren, god I thought she was ugly but there was just something about her (and I know some one who has bedded her, well so he tells me)....but still she grows on you...just like the ten...I find it cute and full of character....and different to all the other bikes...

I love it....cant wait for me crash bungs this week...got the tail tidy fitted need a slightly smaller number plate....oops sorry boys in blue...not too small...just a tad smaller......

Number plate is not an endorsable offence. You can only get fined and given a rectification notice, but if you get up to 3 notices they will then do ya for perverting the course of justice or somesuch.

Don't get me wrong If I wanted a new track bike the 10 would be top of the list.....mainly becasue when I junk the road fairing, lights, mirrors and exhaust it would look good...........kind if like my 04 [rofl] [rofl]

A track bike has to be fast.......It's just that when I'm buying a road bikes I look for a real emotional pull as well as it being the latest, fastest thing on 2 wheels, you have to be able to look at them and go "oohh" (I'm still riding a 2000 Ducati 996)..........I'm just not getting that with any of the Jap bikes this year but the 848 has it in spades, that X-factor that makes you want to own it.........you don't need power on the road anyway so that is the one I would go for if I was in the market......err.....which I'm not so you can all ignore me anyway...... [rofl]

Okay got to agree with ya, if you aint got the passion for it then its not for you....the 1098r and the 1098 and the 848 are gorgeous....24k for a bike is still too much for me to think about...maybe next years incarnation will be better and cheaper...RC8 is also special i think...not too sure about the styling...
