Knowing the twins buddy I reckon the speed would be quite deceptive but then , being naked might slow me down a bit on the motorways ( which I don't tend to ride on very often  [wall] )

Often a common misconception that naked " fighter style " bikes slow you down as they are arguably more fun on the A and B roads and tend to make you ride like a hooligan anyway  [whistle]

nah, not true,  it doubles the load on the back tyre and that wears out twice as quick, fools economy...keep the front wheel on the ground... [rofl]

personally id stick with the gixxer..but what do i know,im tinking of loosing the 10r and going back to the red mist.....1098r  [whistle]

its hard out there mate,trouble is for me i love the dukes.had the top model from every generation (except the 1098r /desmi...............yet.  [rofl]

love the 12r to bits so that stays whatever as its so damm useful....love the 10r too,loads spent and just about done everything i wanna do to it  but i just cant justfy 3 big road bikes sat waiting for 5 days sunshine a year

True buddy , my problem is that there is just so much fuckin' choice out there  [wall]

I have missed every bike I have had once it has gone so maybe I should just keep doing the lottery  [rofl]

loved my aprilia and everything about it.  do like the power of the 10R.. so maybe the new RSV4 has my name on it.

Personally if it was a choice of one or the other I'd probably keep the Gixer 1000.

The Gixer is a less compromised bike.
