Trackdays in the south of France and Spain, nice.

Well done on grasping the nettle, at least you can feel you are in charge of the situation now [clap]

good for you Andy,  you are a talented guy who will no doubt fall into a new role very quickly so yes grab the money and get outta there fella  :icon_thumright:

As you know, I was binned off last year after 24 faithful years and got fekk all redundancy only the stat minimum which was a pisser, but like you say I managed to get a summer off too albeit it rained almost every day in July/Aug/Sept in 2007 which was horrid  [wall] I didn't feel that I was going to go and neither did anyone around me so it was a bit of a shocker for sure, with hindsight to see other comapnies now has done me lots of good and maybe soon I'll be on the shelf again for a while but that's life innit  :icon_thumright:

I genuinely feel that it's a good thing for you to offer your neck and takes a brave man so good for you  :icon_thumright:

belive me or not but few months ago were in very similar situation

workins as acting Clinical Director was informed by Head Office dont match to the general view of the company anymore. O man i was so pissed off. Gave them last 2 years of my life and loads of effort. Was very disappointed as U are. decided to leave and got self employed. now after few months have to say i really apretiate what they have done. im doing exactly the same as before but earn more and in much happier and relaxed enviroment.

What am i trying to say with my crap english in this long story is : changes are not always bad, sometimes we edn better then we started. Have a plan and stick to it and U will be FINE.

take care matey  :headbang:

Same sort of thing happened to me back in the mid 90s, only difference was it came of of the blue.

A few people told me it could be the best thing that ever happens to you & despite me thinking what a load of old bollocks, turns out they were absolutely right !

I'd been there 5 years & to be honest looking back I was in a rut, just turning up & going through the motions, should have left earlier, but you just get comfortable doing it.

I reckon I've earned double over the last 12 years than I would have done there & done far more interesting & challenging work, now whilst money isn't everything, it definitely comes in handy if you've got a penchant for motybikes & adventure sports....    :headbang:

Hell, I even ended up working in Liverpool for a while & :occasion18: had the time of my life up there !

Good luck & be sure to let us know if you need anything  :icon_thumright:
