I've just spent the last hour or so looking at some of the old Ari Vatenan footage that's on you tube.  It's go the 206 T16 on there as well as the famous Black MkII escort that died on the Manx.

Look at the Quattro vs Evo8 test that Top Gear did, and the evo was a second and a half quicker around the track
