Majik a 190/55 will not do the bike any harm as far as i know it may steer a touch slower but not so you'd notice

But will a 190 fit on a rear of a 636 plus I have enough trouble getting around bends now, without slowing the tip in time up  [rofl] [rofl]

I'll check in the morning to see what clearance there is between the chain and the 180 , I think it already runs close.  :dontknow:

It would increase the profile not decrease it, so turn in should be quicker but you may have clearance issues with the hugger.

No never got round to it but i did run a 180/60 and it felt loads more sure footed and turn in was good.

Right chaps - I picked the tyres up this afternoon and I no longer have any space in my garage..... They're in better condition than I was expecting - meaning they're in bloody good nick!! I'll take some photo's in the morning and will post them up here.

Here you go lads - photo's as promised. Tread depth in the centre is between 4,5 and 5mm with good even wear over the tyre - the bloke must have had his suspension set up well as the tyres aren't shredded like I've seen on others. Would those of you who were interested, please pm me for confirmation.

Cheers
Derek
