Not a joke, if I find the smelly bitch who did it I'll kick her fookin box in I tell ya.

Looks like we'll be trying to sell the car at the weekend, just to get rid so we'll probably loose some money on that as well.

just for safety I would remove the spark plug lead so the car wont start ... until you have sold it....   :-/

there will be a leads that attaches to the spark plugs , depending on how old the car is depends on if its easy to get to... newer it is the harder it is... just remove the main one ... I am not sure what its like on a new car... but on older cars they had what was called a king lead... remove this and it won't fire

speak to Chris he should be able to advise   better :icon_thumleft:

tis a pain but you could disconnect the earth lead of the battery instead, open bonnet, pull earth lead off and shut bonnet, manually lock the doors

then unlock manually and open bonnet, refit earth lead and away you go

pain as i said but another idea

thanks for correcting me chris ... the last car I tinkered with was a F reg XR2 .... I love it... easy to work on... and nippy for an 18 year old  :headbang:

I had 4 different XR2's in a year

but best when they were the ford puma...they used the xr2 chassis and parts bin and they really are craking little cars...great fun...ex wife had one and the boys would always know I was home as I used to handbrake her sliding sideways into the drive screeching the tyres...great laugh....but bummer to hear about the theft some people just need taking out of this world....
