tyres, new or 2nd-hand

Does anyone bother buying "New Rubber" anymore or does everyone constantly scan flea bay! Ready for gettin some pilot power race, normally get em of chaos. Whats the secret, to find a good source and use them regular or do you throw caution to the wind and take a chance ? Bet some right shit tyres been bought this way.

I only buy scrubs if i am trying a tyre for the first time mate. Like you say it's a real gamble buying scrubs unless you know and trust who is selling them  :icon_thumright:

I only buy scrubs from reputable sources. Else you will end up with a pile of crap 9/10

crikey I dont trust brand new tyres let alone second hand...but what are scrubs....enlighten me some one...presume they are track tyres that have been used a couple times ?

Personaly i only use new tyres and sell my scrubs at the race meetings. But if i had a road bike i would put them on it.
