I can see a nice bit of pocket money coming my way just going around and setting up encryption on all the open wireless networks that I can access.

yes sort of agree but the free unregulated internet is on the way out...this means regulation and officialdom will take over...costs will increase and this will attract taxation...and therefore government interest....its a scary thought but for instance everything you write on msn is stored for years and years....and its so easy and cheap to have massive storage these days.  Its easy to snoop on the internet, i used to sell just the equipment that did it.

You could be being watched and depending upon how high you stick your head above the parapett will depend upon when and who is watching you...and how seriously.... :brave:

But dont get paranoid....we are not yet a socialist state although we seem to be getting one in london with ken in charge...sorry am getting on soap box...will banish myself to bed right away... :emb:

well if you all worried about this snooping crap go to www.aaisp.net.uk and sign up...

No filtering
No Capping
And No Traffic monitoring

only thing that is monitored is usage in peak hours  :icon_thumleft:

(ps we are not cheap at the minute but if you want to migrate I can wave the charge)

Proce will tumble in the next couple of months once 21st century network kicks off  :icon_thumleft:
