I fancy a change
« on: February 10, 2008, 08:11:02 PM »

this is my dilema....

I love my ten both of them but I have the track one and thats staying....

so what to do...... reside to the fact that the ten will continue to spiral in losing money and throw more at it to make it look mint maybe a spray job and renew my love for it....

or get a new bike summit like this (semi new)

whats your opinions

Mate no matter what you buy it will never go up in value. And whats to say you won't crash your new bike  :dontknow: and end up in the same position. At the end of the day there are new models coming out every year now, The manufactures and "BOLT ON" companies are loving it. I think you need to ask your self seriously why you want to change. If  it's vanity then cool as long as you can afford it. Not being funny but i bet after a short time you would be no happier/faster on a k8 gixxer and you would still spend aload of cash on it.

thats what I am thinking Jon , the bike as it is , I am just losing interest in , so if I am gonna spend 1k + on it why don't I just get a newer bike.....

wippy I aint worried so much about a little power loss , I don't think I could go to a 600 again but I like the look of them gixxers ...

that was just an example though.... I won't decide for a couple of months.... and I change my mind like the wind but most of you have a level head and you talk sense most of the time thats why I like to hear  your views  :occasion14: :icon_thumleft:

small talk isn't what you just did, small talk is asking things like the weather.... not throwing in a slating comment that is now not being backed up.... I like to hear your opinion.... if you think I will be a sheep just cause I want to own a gixxer then let me know why  :dontknow: I am a big man I can take it  :icon_thumright:

if you are just putting in a comment for no reason I shall be on my way  :pottytrain2:

Have you sat on a new gixxer 750? Same chassis as the 600 i think and it feels well small!

Those Gixxers are great bikes and that one looks awsome.....But standard can etc....

If you did get it surely you would end up spending on that rather than the 10 so false economy really.
