Yeah but the 12R aint a sports bike its a hyper sports tourer type thing. If you get into trackdays, its not the bike for the job.

my mate matt had a blackbird not far from the zx12r and man he was quick as and i would have bet my life that no one i know would get near him on it and wheelie       fuck me stand ups to 150+ he used to muscle that bastard like no one i know??

BULSHIT i hear you guys say buy man he wa fast as fook on it,
i.e we went to pirbright bends and i was on a super motad  husky 610 and he left me for dead  and i had the arse end out every bend and still couldn't catch him?
so if its what you want go test ride, i think you'll enjoy it once you get use to the handling , or slight lack of, but a good rider can ride any thing ?

ZX10R/GSXR1000 to a GSXR750 forwards or backwards either way its a learning curve and evolution of the riders capabilities, if i went back to my old zx6r or even my TL1000S would i be able to ride it harder than i could before  maybe?!

Why you thinking of changing the R1 for the ZX12R then Si? Planning on touring a bit or more pillion etc
