There's an interesting post on page 5 of that thread just to stir up the Blade lovers :

"Thanks for the scan james! Clearly Honda and Kawasaki are two top favorites for next season (not looking at desing), and although MCN dyno showed correct numbers (Kawi has much more hp than Honda (sorry fanboys  ) but laptimes from MCN team aren't true because another group of serious test riders, laped the _same almeria track_ during the same day, 3 seconds faster! So first you need to have good riders to push bikes to the limits.

And the results are:

1. Kawasaki zx10r: 1.43.043
2. Suzuki gsx-r 1000: 1.43.664
3. Honda fireblade: 1.43.801
4. Yamaha r1: 1.43.986

I can't believe the bit about the midrange grunt they recon the honda has..... I would like to have a go and see though

Aye,but if it's got fook all below 4500 and dies at 11000 then the midrange would feel great wouldn't it?
