Hi guys just joined...got the details from an LB'er (london biker) who said you were all going to do a track day at silverstone.  Not booked that yet but I am just looking at what is going on before i go ahead.

As my title shows i have bought already the first zx10 in the country....I am picking mine up on the thursday morning..

I am doing a track day at Brandshatch with the LBers on the 1st march taking my zx7r and the R1 and of course now the zx10...the zx7r is the newish track bike, first day out on it and so I will be taking her steady...well as steady as I can go...

As my title suggests I like twostrokes and I have one or two...looking for a H2 this year and maybe a KH250 that will be my collection complete.

Anyway as I say hope to see some of you at silverstone.  I will be at brands already booked so if anyone else is there you will spot me I am the one with the new ZX10r....I am in Alton by the way...any of you do the railway cafe....

Ooh on the 2008 model...they are only just coming into the Uk this week.  MCN had the very first one in the country...perhaps thats been sold...dont know but I am the first official owner of a 2008 ZX10r...I was the first to place a deposit and I am getting the first bike released officially..

i cant confirm this as hvnt spoke to kieron for ages (skeggy oct 07) but his was in the pipeline then    ...... but he was due his 08 ten the week after nec show ..........surely if u get urs b4 march u will lose it being a 08 and it will be a 57 on the plate ...the offical release is thurs but they are already in the country ..my mate works at kwak uk ,they have had them for ages ther

ah thats interesting...I guess some must have been here for testing   but MCN had the only one in the country just a few weeks ago...so am mightily confused.  I ordered mine last year and was told then i was the first to order one, I was told just yesterday I am getting the first one in the country...officially, but I guess there must have been others about...still if kawasaki tell me I am the first I believe them...dont you....?    perhaps there are a lot of firsts in the country...

Glad to have you on board mate , with regards to the " first '08 10R " , you need to remember that , this being a pretty specialist site , there ARE guys on here that king of " get to jump the usual queues " if you get my meaning 

I believe Keiron has taken delivery of his already  but that doesn't mean his will be " road ready " before yours  as you can bet your bottom dollar he won't let it be seen until it's " perfected " if you get my meaning 

Get some photos up of your " collection " - there are a few " old timers " on here who will be able to take a trip down memory lane with you

ref you getting the first 08 10r, i've got to be honest i would have thought the first ones would have been dealer bikes and not customer bikes, this is what usually happens when new models come out

either way am sure you'll be happy with it

i think he is trying to say he is the offical one to be first on the rd with one ,,, but it isnt march yet ,which is usally the date they first go on the rd .or u end up with a bike that looks 6mnths older than it is    if thats not it and he isnt putting it on the rd this week ,then as ive already said keiron has had one since december    in which case thers no way he is first ,,espech as racers have them already

Does all this REALLY matter 

Stroker has bought a bloody good bike that not many of us will see in the next few weeks and , from what I hear it is going to be added to a rather nice collection of other Kwackers .

The important thing is that it's another 10R on the road and another valued member into the " family " which is this forum
