Back in Black (well orange actually)
« on: January 29, 2008, 01:12:51 PM »

Hello all,

I'm a previous owner of a 2005 ZX10R in Black, but in August last year I chopped it in for - well, let's say a "different" bike. I had to do it, I'd thrashed it to death - but in my defence, it was the voices that made me do it.

Well, I've succumbed to the voices again, and chopped the "different"  bike in for another 2005 ZX10R.

A new one, an import from the states, 2005 model in bling orange which clearly had been left unsold in the US and has subsequently been shipped over here.

So I'm back, if you see a fat man on a blurr of an orange ZX10R around Derbyshire, Cheshire and Mid-Wales, that's me - rraarr !!!

Not yet mate - I pick her up on 1st March - 08 plate (even though it's an 05 bike I thought an 08 plate might mean it'll hold it's value a bit longer, maybe). I'm in no rush though - look outside.

Then I'll put on all the palava I took off the old bike, GPR damper, Akra can, PCIII, screen, integrated indicators and tail lights and the tail tidy - and then I'll be offffff.

Will post some piccies in due course

Can't wait though

Nice one mate  :icon_thumleft: though its not so much the year of the bike its the model and the condition that will hold the value  :icon_thumleft:

I'll be putting a PCIII and revised engine map straight on it - will that get round the issue ?

[mechanically inept, dangerously unskilled and without any engine knowledge whatsoever]
