Here's one for you.

My missus is a Primary School Teacher and the school she worked for 5 years until Christmas had not had a Nativity play, because all the Yardy, Somalian, Persian, Iranian & Iraqi parents would kick up a fuss.  So this year the Deputy Head, who is a black teacher asked all the kids this question in November.

"How many of you didn't have any presents last Christmas?"   and not one of them put their hands up, so she said well as you all had Christmas Presents, this year we, as a school are going to have a nativity play.

Not one parent complained officially as they couldn't back their beliefs as the kids had dropped them in it.

The other thing that pissed me off about that school was the fact that the school had to use Halal Meat (method of slaughter for those that don't know) as the Muslim parents insisted.

I had no problem with that as it was, fine it's part of your beliefs etc etc.  Then a quick question to the kids one day.

"How many of you have eaten in MacDonalds?"        most of them eat there regularly    that's what I call double standards.

And then most of the parents drive up in the big mercs and beamers and plead poverty    How I don't know

now we all know about what mr Hitler did 50 yrs ago regarding the Jews.
absolutley terrible we will all agree im sure.

unless ive been informed incorrectly ive been told that prior to this
realy aufull time the Jewish community in Germany and Europe had
the monopoly on shops, buisinesses etc and they pushed the general public
away from being able to start their own companys etc. so they were getting
richer and richer. so when the Nazi party came to power they put a stop to
this, and when war broke out the went further with it.

i long for a government in this country who will rule it for the benefit of its
people. if you move here and get a job etc regardless of race creed etc i wouldnt give
a shit. if you are a tax payer the money should be spent on you, not people outside
of the country unless you give consent to do so.

and this is a christian/catholic country. so it should be foremost.
other faiths should respect it and not change things.

This thread saddens me.

I agree,the withdrawl of the book by an 'awards panel' is a little over the top but it's amazing how a thread on a story about a book brings out the true colours of people.

Flame away if you like but posts like the one above are beneath contempt - it sounds as if the Jews brought on their own slaughter because they owned corner shops.

By the way,I agree with the original poster - biased reporting helps no one but it seems we're all capable of leaving out little snippets of information when on the 'soap box' - no one mentioned there were 2 reasons why the book was 'overlooked'.

Accusing all builders of being Cowboys and acting like pigs means nothing when a little "This country is far too soft / fuck the imigrants" headline gets more attention.

no i dont belive for one second they brought on their own
slaughter. and as i said it was a horrific sequence of events
which occured.

the point i was making is that if you get a certain group living in
a nation trying to change and rule things their own way you may
well end up with a riot at some point when people have had all
they can take.

as i said it was what i was told. its just food for thought.
so here in the UK a lot of people are getting pissed off
with how things are being changed, will it come to a head
