bikes.... non motor types
« on: January 23, 2008, 10:01:34 PM »

I know horse is into his bikes and got a fancy one.... I wanna see who else is into it...

I am pretty up on makes and bits as I use to race cross country in thetford forest whilst in the army... I weren't great but I did ok...

I just wanna lose some belly fat and I can't be arse to run because i end up catalysing  muscle which goes against my gym training...

so really just wanna see you bike pics thats all pretty simple.... and well do you ride it much  :icon_thumleft:

I ride to work and back, bout 16miles total. Only road miles, on a decathlon hardtail. I love it. Getting a bit of a dab on before work is for winners. :icon_thumright:

Used to be well into it with me mates years ago.

Had a GT zaskar in yellow. Looked wicked with rock shox forks, michelin wild-gripper (green) tyres and Kooka multo-coloured cranks!!  :headbang:

It's sounds horrible to those not in the know but it looked well trick! I even had some spin (3 spoke carbon) wheels on it at one point. It still ahnging up in the garage with a puncture that i got about 5 years ago! :emb:

Not itto it anymore though - cant be arsed!  [whistle]

Yeah that'll be fine just for a cardio workout. In fact the heavier it is the better workout you'd get.

I wish I still had my road bike from when I was 16 ish  :-(. I spent two years road racing and time trialling. I wasnt the best but good fun. Used to do about 500 miles a week. Be lucky to do 5 now.
