no i dont expect you to no mate but alot of folk think they no,its a 4 year old engine thats had the nuts spanked of it being sold by a constantly cash strapped team, and do you really think they would spend time refreshing it to stick on ebay when there are loads of folk who will get a hard on when they see a scott smart super bike engine for sale ?

and to answer your other question yes john did build it and was a good engine in its day but ide doubt it is that good now.

im not trying to be clever here but i know alot of people in the paddock and i know what goes on and its abit of an eye opener at times i can tell you.im not just talking about hawk either.

I'm not in the market for a superbike engine, so i'm not going to buy it.

For the shit that engines got, its worth the money even if it does need refreshing and who's to say its not a spare engine thats sat on the shelf for 3 years never been run?

woooooohooooo so that's what an engine looks like then, I bet it's ded fast loike........  [rofl] [rofl]

Buying used engines is always a gamble and especially race motors as you don;'t know for sure of it's condition, if somethings too good to be true it probably is as a rule  :icon_thumright:

I think my bike must have race parts on it cos itz ded fassed like  :tongue3:

Aye, a good point matey and can't say that I'd even consider dropping a race motor in and I'd be reluctant to accept a just rebuilt statement as an honest one in most cases, too risky and I'd assume a bomb ticking really but that's just my opinion afterall  :icon_thumright:
