Just a question Glen, what happens if the firewall blocks the domain zx10r.co.uk, wouldn't it still be blocked even with anything before it?

Just blocked zx10r.co.uk on my router firewall and yes it does block the whole thing unfortunately.

dude works don't usually block the IP they usually have a web proxy that blocks a URL that has been commonly used... so if you hit a page 5 or 10 times it will then block that page

Yeah I have access to the filters on our proxy.

I went into the Firewall rules and said block any url containing zx10r.co.uk and it did.  It's how we would do it in work.

The kids get used to get around it by typing the IP address in for the sites and that would work, maybe he could still get to the site from just using the IP address instead of the URL

No he won't mate because the server I use isn't just for zx10r.co.uk so if you use my servers IP you just get my server holding page

plus proxies are meant to be automatic.... so human intervention needed
