Calling all 2004 owners!

Hi new here - I've got an 04 which I use for track days and trips to the ring. Coming from an 03 GSXR1000 it took some getting used to but after a few days at cartagena I got to love it - great front end!

I'm after some tips for gearing, rear suspension and end cans please. I'm thinking of going 1 down at the front and 1 up at the rear, maybe a lighter spring at the back and also fitting an end can with removable baffles.

Any suggestions / opinions would be much appreciated

mr K seems to have given me 50hp to much!!! but i think i can manage. O K maybe with a bit  more practice !!

Cheers guys! Recommended by Jon177 when I was asking about decent double bubble screens on the US site. I'm near a place called Betley, between Crewe and Stoke. Looking forwards to doing Oulton as soon as the weather looks ok!

hi mate welcome to the site.

i think i might invest in a softer rear spring myself as it seems a tad too
hard for me. apparantly fitting a rocker linkage from a zx6 05 helps.
its what is listed in the race manual i belive and it makes the spring
work in a linear not a progressive manner.
