Its not atually knackered by the looks of it. you are able to change themes on the phone and it seems the middle part of the screen is stuck with the o2 theme on it . When i change the theme it keeps the o2 theme across the middle [wall] Its like a software fuck up.

download the latest software and then re flash the handset  .... send back saying this is now sorted there is no comback end of  :dontknow:

Ive just asked in the help section of Ebay and a guy says he can open a dispute with paypal saying the item was not as desribed and he will win.

yes he can but it was exactly as described  [wall]  si I'm sure that you can respond and will win  :icon_thumright:

:iamwithstupid: I doubt he would win mate, as you have the phone and can prove it was working ok by the texts he has sent and the pics he has taken....

Well i send him an Email last night saying that it was obviously his fault among loads of other stuff. Its a theme based problem and i was looking through the themes he had on the phone from his memory card and i opened one and it came up an error warning and said the file was corrupt!!!!

Fucking problem solved einstein

So he has emailed me back today and finally dropped himself in the shit and admitted in not so many words that the phone was fine for two days of use before the problem came about. Heres the email

---------------------------------------
hi..well im havin ma exams at the moment because of which i couldnt check it before that date! the mesages and everything were all restored from my card so that shouldnt be a problem as they were on my memory card. definitely there was a fault inthe phone thats why this has happened. The greasy bit I dont even know what youre talking about...i took the phone out put ma memory card in and i think uised it for a day or two when this problem started! obviously i have to use it for that long to get to know about any problems!
---------------------------------------

Doh!!

So i just emailed him back saying i take no responsibility for the phones working condition now he has used it etc and told him i will send it back to the same address.

Twat!!

Just a thought,
but as you said he's bought loads of these phones in the past few months, what about firing off an email to some of his previous sellers to see if he's tried the same thing with them.

Does sound to me like he's tried hacking the phone in some way and with it screwed the graphics drivers up.

I wonder what he's studying as he's always busy with exams?
