Right guys,

I asked him to send the phone back after he agreed to meet me. Today i recieved the phone sent by him yesterday.

I have cross referenced the imei numbers and they match, so its defo the phone i sent him. There is definately a problem with the phone. The page is just showing the o2 background and will not let me even upload a picture as a wallpaper  But the rest of the phone seems to be working fine.
Now the best bit. I sent the phone on 7th Jan and he would of recieved it on 8th Jan. There are 309 recieved messages on the phone memory and 20 sent messages. There is also a load of pics of the cunt poncing about on it. The pics are date stamped at christmas but the messages go right up to 10th Jan. He contacted me on 11th Jan to say it was fucked [wall] It was also really grubby, the screen was greasy etc, so its obviously been used, not just tried and seen its not working and put away again.

So in my mind this guy has accepted the phone as fine. What do you lot reckon :dontknow:

The phone is not insured by me so if i wanted it sorting out then i would have to go through manufacture warranty and how would that go?

I really just want to tell him to shove it but im worried he can snatch money back through my paypal account.

Cheers

Jon.

If you can prove he has damaged the phone though miss use then. There shouldn't be a problem !!  You got pictures   :headbang:

:iamwithstupid: Sounds daft I know, but a phone call to Citizens Advice Bureau could well be worth it mate  :icon_thumright:

EDIT: You could just go back to him and say the phone is full of his texts and pictures, so you can prove it was working once he received it and that you will be sending it back to him as he obviously broke it whilst it was in his care. At the same time if he paid by Paypal I'd let them know what's going on so that he cannot sting you for the money back..

Eh :icon_scratch: How could he take a picture of himself damaging the phone that he's taking pictures with?

I said poncing around, ie taking pictures of him and his mates etc etc. They were date stamped christmas though so they dont mean anything. It just means the phone has been used for alot more than just seeing if it works.

Don't think paypal can claim money off you like that, i would think that it would be ebay that would contact you and ask questions about the phone.   He may have to go to a small claims Court

I'd send it back and tell him that it was obviously working fine until it failed on him and it was sold in good faith afterall  :icon_thumright:

I'm sure that you sold it in good faith Jon and maybe he dropped it and is taking the piss setting it as your problem now  [wall]

I hate people who take the piss like that, yes maybe it simply failed but I really don't see why it's your problem, yes he can complain to paypal but you have proof of postage and a striong case anyhow so get it back to him and maybe just tell him how it is  :icon_thumright:

Its not atually knackered by the looks of it. you are able to change themes on the phone and it seems the middle part of the screen is stuck with the o2 theme on it . When i change the theme it keeps the o2 theme across the middle [wall] Its like a software fuck up.

I would fuck him off.... send it back to him... say to him he is being unreasonable. the phone was sold in perfect working order....

Its an absolute fucker that someone can dispute that they never got it in good condition.....

If he fucks you over Jon , then we reply the favour.... , fucking little cunt is pushing his luck...... I would phone him tell him to wind his neck in .... if he fucks you over you'll ......fill in the gaps.......... send the phone back to him and say don't try and take me for a fool you clear broke it  :dontknow:

I reckon a software upgrade could probably fix it anyhow

Just make sure he doesn't have no one around when you give him what for on the phone.... no evidence and all that shit  :icon_thumleft:
